100 little words

Back in December I was approached by Charlie Plunkett to take part in her project 100 Little Words, after a nomination from the lovely Sarah at The Puffin Diaries.

The project sounds simple...write 100 words on any aspect of parenthood, which would be included in Charlie's newest book '100 Little Words on Parenthood'.

The first challenge was finding a particular aspect of parenting to write about, the second, was making it exactly 100 words long, which is much much harder than it sounds.

I wrote a poem about my personal journey from infertility to adoption to pregnancy and birth, and I'm thrilled that Charlie has included it in her book.

If you want to see my poem, and have a look at the other contributors own '100 words' (including Sarah mentioned above), then pop over to Amazon where you can buy the kindle version,
I can't wait to see the real thing in print!

  1. Neither can I! I'm in there too....somewhere :) Looking forward to buying it when it becomes available and reading your poem. x

    1. And it's out now! - hope you got the email from Charlie?
Looking forward to reading everyone's contribution, I've got it on Kindle, but it's not the same as having a real book. x
